Paints

The face paints we use are professional water-based and above all safe. They are hypoallergenic and have antibacterial properties and are designed for use on the face and body. All products used are fully compliant with EU and FDA toy and cosmetic regulations.

For children with sensitive skin a patch test can be provided. If there is no reaction after 20-30 minutes the child can be painted. Glitterbugs Face Painting cannot be held liable for any allergic reaction to the paint. Paint can easily be removed from the skin using mild soap, warm water and a flannel. Should paint come into contact with clothing you are advised to soak the item overnight in cold water to avoid temporary staining.

 

Face paints used by us have anti-bacterial properties and are specifically for use on the face and skin.

Face paints are easily removed with face cloth soap/water. We recommend your normal brand of soap/water.

 Before starting, every face will be cleaned with a wet wipe to provide hygienic and safe service.

 

• Some colours (usually green and blue) may linger on the skin depending on the skin type.
  

• Face paint is a sun block, you may get a tan line where the paint has been if outside on a hot sunny day
  

• Face painters do not paint anyone who does not want to be painted. (This may mean stopping half way through if a child changes their mind!)
